Good Neighbors Tajikistan now searches for Community Mobilizers in Shahritus (1) areas. The accumbent will be responsible to mobilize and engage community members in project activities, strengthen local ownership and participation, promote inclusive and child-sensitive approaches, and support sustainable community-led action in line with project objectives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· To conduct community visits and consultations to identify needs, priorities, capacities, risks and available local resources.

· To build constructive relationships with community leaders, local authorities, schools, parent groups, youth and other stakeholders.

· To organize community meetings, awareness sessions, consultations, trainings and public events in coordination with the project team.

· To encourage meaningful participation of children, women, young people, persons with disabilities and other under-represented groups.

· To support the establishment and functioning of community groups, volunteer networks and child/youth groups where relevant to the project.

· To explain project objectives, eligibility criteria, planned activities, feedback channels and community roles in clear and accessible language.

· To facilitate community-led action planning, prioritization of needs and follow-up on agreed commitments.

· Support implementation and monitoring of community activities, ensuring they are inclusive, safe, conflict-sensitive and do no harm.

· To identify and promptly report protection concerns, safeguarding risks, complaints or incidents through approved organisational procedures; do not investigate cases independently.

· To collect attendance lists, activity notes, feedback, success stories and other monitoring data accurately and submit them on time.

Required Qualifications and Experience

· At least secondary education; relevant training or experience in community development, social work, education or a related field is an advantage.

· Experience working with communities, local authorities, schools, volunteers or civil society organizations is desirable.

· Ability to engage respectfully with children and adults from diverse backgrounds and to promote inclusion and gender equality.

· Good organizational skills and ability to keep accurate records and meet deadlines.

· Fluency in English and Tajik; knowledge of Uzbek and Russian is an advantage.

· Basic computer and mobile-phone skills for communication, documentation and reporting.

· Commitment to child safeguarding, confidentiality, accountability and the values of Good Neighbors.

· Willingness to travel to project communities and work flexible hours when activities require it.
